ROGUE HANDICAPPER® PREAKNESS STAKES OVERVIEW ANALYSIS

The Rogue Handicapper® gives you his analysis of the second leg of the Triple Crown here and only at RogueHandicapper.com on his blog page “From the Rail”.

Here again we have a competitive field in the Preakness Stakes as we did in the Derby and which was proven by the huge payouts in the trifecta and superfecta.

You will very rarely see a race with the Rogue Ratings™ computer program that gives you seven projected plays out of ten horse entered in a race, but that is what we have here.

Now, just like in the Derby we have a competitive group of horses (of which the Rogue Ratings™ gave you #5-Always Dreaming as only one of two projected winners paying $11.40-$7.20-$5.80 across the board) and which was proven by the huge payouts in the trifecta ($1 returned $8,297.20) and superfecta ($1 returned $75,974.50). This was created by two long shots running second and third (of which Rogue Ratings™ gave out #11-Battle of Midway as the best long shot play) …just saying!

Below, I will give you my personal analysis of the Preakness Stakes with possible betting combinations to use to get you to the cashier windows! And as always, “May the rogue ratings velocity numbers be with you”!

WINNING PROJECTIONS

The Rogue Ratings™ computer program sees two horse as the projected wagering keys in the Preakness Stakes which is the #4-Always Dreaming (4/5) listed as the Speed Horse (S) which is the best early runner with a low velocity number. The Race Shape again sets-up very well for him where he should be able to gain control of this race from the opening stages of the race. Now, when they close in on the wire he should still have his nose around at the finish-line!

The second key horse to use in your betting selected by the Rogue Ratings™ in The Preakness Stakes is the #5-Classic Empire (3-1) is listed as a Rogue Squared Horse (R2) which is a second-best type of outlier horse with a low velocity number.

LONG SHOT PROJECTIONS

If your looking to key on a couple of long shots in The Preakness Stakes I believe the first one is #6-Gunnevera (15-1) which is the Rogue Squared Horse (R2) that is the second-best type of outlier horses with a low velocity number looks like a solid price play. In addition, this horse ran a very tough race and still looks to me to be moving forward in his form-cycle which looks to have him around at the wire. This long shot is a must use in your exotic bets!

And the other key long shot is #10-Conquest Mo Money (15-1) is listed as another Rogue Squared Horse (R2) which the second-best type of outlier horse with a low velocity number. This one skipped the Derby, but the Rogue Ratings™ loved this horse in the Arkansas Derby when he just missed in the last steps of that race against rival Classic Empire at odds of 17-1. He looks to still be in the good part of his form-cycle and deserves consideration in this race.

Here is the Rogue Handicapper® personal analysis of the unique Rogue Ratings™ computer program on The Black-Eyed Susan G-2 which you will only find on the Roguehandicapper.com at the Blog “From the Rail”:

WINNING PROJECTIONS

The Rogue Ratings™ computer program projects two horses in this race as the likely projected winners #1-Shimmering Aspen (9/2) as the Rogue Horse (R) in the race which is the best outlier horse with the lowest velocity number. Now, this filly looks to still be moving up in her form cycle and the Race Shape projection uniquely outlined by the Rogue Ratings™ computer program shows a favorable pace set-up.

The #7-Moana (4-1) is the Rogue Squared Horse (R2) as the second-best outlier horse with a low velocity number. This filly also is still in the good part of her form-cycle and should fire a good effort.

BEST LONG SHOT PROJECTIONS

This looks like the #5-Lights of Medina (8-1) fits the bill. As she is the Key Horse which is the best off the pace horse with a low velocity number. The Race Shape projection outlined by Rogue Ratings™ shows her closing off the pace and her pace number of 91 fits well with the Early Speed Par of 85 for this race.

“This unique computer program that me and my partner have developed allows the new racing fan or novice horseplayer to win now without having to spend years or decades to win, which was never possible before”, says the Rogue Handicapper!

Winning on the Kentucky Derby Is All Right at Your Fingertips…Rogue Ratings™ app does everything for you!

Wow, talk about a close field of horses based on the Rogue Ratings™ computer program velocity and early speed numbers in this Derby! Can you say, “Wide open betting race”?…I certainly can!

What the Rogue Ratings™ computer program does for you very accurately is two things, first it measures the motor of the horses through velocity numbers (lower the number the better) and second, it outlines the race shape with early speed numbers projections (higher the number mean more early speed) of which horses look to run early, mid and late in the Derby. This is sophisticated information not possessed by the public or public handicappers!

Here below is the Rogue Ratings™ computer program projections for the 143rd Kentucky Derby via your mobile device.

The Derby Is a Race to Bet

The Rogue Handicapper® knows the best way to bet the Derby is to “go big or go home” because all the ingredients for making a nice “score” in one race present its self in this famous horse race…big time!

Starting from the big field of horses (20 in gate usually) to extra-large betting amounts (not normally found daily at the track) of public money (uninformed bettors) being bet on the Derby all add up to a betting event you should wager on.  My own mindset is to attack the trifecta and superfecta in the Kentucky Derby.

Rogue Handicapper® Trifecta & Superfecta Betting Tips for the Derby

The misconception of the casual horse racing fan is that you need to be exact in making your trifecta bets to get to the cashier windows…this is not so and I will show you what I mean! Meaning that the best way to help increase your chances of winning on the trifecta (picking the first three finishers in exact order) is to select one or two key horses (to use as your main selections/ keys) to finish in the top three positions of the trifecta and to put the other horses you pick as additional contenders around those key selections in each spot.

So, this way you have your additional horses crisscrossed or partly wheeled around your key horses and if one of your key horses run 1st, 2nd or 3rd and two of your other contenders run in any one of the top three spots (with no opinion on your part where, just as long as they get there) you will win your trifecta wager…this is a very clever wagering strategy and I hope you will agree?

When betting the superfecta, you can just adjust the betting strategy that I’ve outlined for you above. For example, choosing to use only one key horse in all four spots or if you do use two key horses then I would recommend limiting the number of spots that you use them as this will help reduce the cost of your superfecta ticket…note, adding additional spots to bet your key horse(s) will greatly increase the cost of your superfecta ticket.

The Rogue Handicapper® Analysis of the Rogue Ratings™ for the 143rd Kentucky Derby

The #11-Battle of Midway (30-1) is the projected Speed Horse *S* highlighted in red which is the best early speed horse with the lowest velocity number.

The #6-State of Honor (30-1) is one of a couple of projected Rogue Squared *R2* highlighted in purple is the next best outlier horse with a low velocity number.

The #7-Girvin (15-1) is one of a couple of projected Rogue Squared *R2* highlighted in purple is the next best outlier horse with a low velocity number.

The #9-Irap (20-1) is one of a couple of projected Rogue Squared *R2* highlighted in purple is the next best outlier horse with a low velocity number.

The #15-McCraken (5-1) is the projected Key Horse *K* highlighted in blue is the best off the pace horse with a low velocity number.

So now, if your looking for another horse or even another key horse to include into your exotic betting for the Derby the #5-Always Dreaming (5-1) fits well! He looks to get a great Race Shape set-up(pace & racing position) that looks to put him possibly in the mix at the wire.
